Abstract

The icons in the Figures are used in IBM* software, such as Consumer Transaction/2* (CT/2*), on personal computers running OS/2* Presentation Manager*. CT/2 is an integrated development facility for designing, editing, testing, constructing, and running transactions for financial institutions, such as banks. Icons may advantageously include color features, although color is not shown in the figures.

Icons which Include a Paper Item Symbol

      The icons in the Figures are used in IBM* software, such as
Consumer Transaction/2* (CT/2*), on personal computers running OS/2*
Presentation Manager*.  CT/2 is an integrated development facility
for designing, editing, testing, constructing, and running
transactions for financial institutions, such as banks.  Icons may
advantageously include color features, although color is not shown in
the figures.

      Payment Icon in Fig. 1 indicates means for accessing a
transaction so that a user can enter the necessary account
information to pay one or more bills.  Visually, the icon includes an
envelope symbol which represents the bill to be paid.

      Last Statement Icon in Fig. 2 indicates means for accessing a
customer's last printed checking or savings account statement,
reviewing account transactions, and performing adjustments.
Visually, the icon includes the symbol of a slightly folded piece of
paper surrounded by quote marks.

      Signature Icon in Fig. 3 indicates means for displaying an
image of a customer's signature.  Visually, the icon includes the
symbol of a form with a pen superimposed thereon.
