Remote Call Forwarding

      This article describes an invention which will allow a phone to
be forwarded from an alternate phone.  The way in which this works is
slightly different for an internal phone system and for home use, and
is also slightly different if forwarding from the phone being
forwarded.

Internal Phone System Use - If forwarding from the phone being
forwarded:

      The person will pick up the phone and press the appropriate
command which allows forwarding from that particular internal phone
system, i.e., #9, then dial the number of the phone they want their
phone forwarded to, then hang up.  -  If forwarding from an alternate
phone:

      The person will pick up the phone and press the appropriate
command which allows forwarding from that particular internal phone
system, i.e., #9, then dial the number of the phone they want
forwarded, followed by the # key.  The # key is a signal that the
phone the person is currently on is not the phone being forwarded.
After pressing the # key, the phone will beep which indicates that
the phone is ready to receive additional information.  The person
then dials the number they want the phone forwarded to, followed by
the # key, then hangs up.

      To cancel call forwarding, a person must subsist either at
their phone or at the phone to which their phone is forwarded.  If
they are at their phone, they dial the appropriate command to cancel
forwarding in that particular phone system, i.e., ##9, then hang up.
If they are at the phone theirs is forwarded to, they simply dial
their number and hang up.
