This article describes a multimedia link marker repository. There are no current repositories for multimedia link markers. Without a link marker repository the creation of multimedia documents is difficult. Repositories for multimedia link markers are needed for 2 purposes:

Multimedia Link Marker Reference Repository

      This article describes a multimedia link marker repository.
There are no current repositories for multimedia link markers.
Without a link marker repository the creation of multimedia documents
is difficult.  Repositories for multimedia link markers are needed
for 2 purposes:

o   As an immediate on-line multimedia reference source.
o   As a direct source of link markers for perspective authors.
o   Easy traversal through knowledge-base in a manner more relevant
    to the subject matter.

      Create a repository that contains multimedia link markers.
This repository will have not only contain link connection
information, it will also contain descriptive information called
attributes that will allow the perspective users to search for them.
Any link markers that reside in the repository can be invoked by the
user by pointing to it and clicking.

      If a author/developer wishes to use a link marker that resides
in a link marker repository he would first find the marker within the
repository and then copy it to the page in the document he is
creating.  The user could test invoke the link marker in the
repository before deciding to copy it.

      Link markers may be created new for the directory by using a
link marker creation set of dialogs.  The developer adding the link
marker may be asked to create the required link(s).  In addition,
