Method for Identifying Optimal Interface Use in Voice-Controlled System

Provided is automatic determination for the best voice control
template a user could have used during application use.

With the boom in voice control systems, there is a more likely
case that systems will become equipped with a library of voice
templates.  It would be a long and painful task for a user to
experiment with many voice templates.  Many of the voice templates
may intersect in configured macros.  A user who has made one template
active may be completely unaware of other templates which are better
suited for the tasks at hand.  A method is needed for automatically
identifying the best template for use within an application.

A user starts a tracking process before invoking an
application.  During application use, the tracking process compares
user input with all voice templates, particularly their entries, in a
particular library of voice templates.  The library or set of
libraries may be assumed at tracking initialization time or it may be
provided as input during user start of tracking.  It is very
important the correct set of templates is specified because templates
for different applications map a voice command to a macro which may
be the same key sequence.  Though the key sequence (macro) is the
same, the application function and associated voice command may be
very different depending on the application it was intended to be
used for.  The set of templates to be tracked must be intended to be
used with the application to be tracked.

When a user has completed using the tracked application, the
tracking process is ended.  The tracking process then prompts the
user with the list of candidate voice templates wh...
