Airbearing Turntable with Six Airbearing Spindles

The idea behind mounting airbearings on a turntable is to cut
down on the time required to test magnetic disks.  Presently, those
tests are done in a sequential order on one airbearing spindle.

With a test station, as shown, all the tests can be
accomplished simultaneously.  A time saving of 50% to70 % can be
realized.

Presently, there is no one who offers such a turntable.
