Abstract

A file or folder of ImagePlus* documents can contain upwards of several hundred pages. The addition of tabs or sections to the document folder approves the effectiveness and efficiency of document retrieval. This mechanism is equivalent to the manual tabbing approach frequently used. Tabs provide users with a capability of directly accessing a specific portion of a folder instead of sequentially reviewing the entire folder's contents.

Adding Tabs or Sections to Imageplus Document List

A file or folder of ImagePlus* documents can contain
upwards of several hundred pages.  The addition of tabs or sections
to the document folder approves the effectiveness and efficiency of
document retrieval.  This mechanism is equivalent to the manual
tabbing approach frequently used. Tabs provide users with a
capability of directly accessing a specific portion of a folder
instead of sequentially reviewing the entire folder's contents.

To streamline the input effort when using tabs, the system
automatically groups documents into tabs at scan time.  The
appropriate folder tab is determined by the document type.  The
relationship between tabs and document types is established during
installation and can be customized to meet the customer's specific
requirements.
