Vacuum Shielded Wire Stripping Electrodes

This disclosure is a device for evacuating gases and particles
which are generated during a wire stripping operation.

In the figure, electrodes (2) are held in place by housing (1)
which is shaped to provide a vacuum cavity (3) around the electrodes
(2).

A vacuum source is connected to housing (1) at ports (4).
Gases and debris generated at end of electrodes (2) are pulled thru
the housing cavity (3) and evacuated.

The air flow created by the vacuum also cools the electrodes
(2) and increases their useful life.
