Method for Making Color Selection More Flexible

This invention allows better support of all 7 colors on
nonprogrammable terminals (NPTs).  If the user wants to use yellow
and turquoise, the displaying of column separators can be turned off
with a set-up option on the display.

In order to make the colors of yellow and turquoise usable, a
change can be made in the NPT itself to allow the user to select
whether he/she wants to display column separators.  When the user
sets up the NPT to "Display column separators", the display operates
just like it currently does (column separators displayed).  When the
user sets up the display to "Not display column separators", yellow
and turquoise can be displayed without any column separators on the
screen.
