      Disclosed is a device that removes loose unwanted material on a
product without contacting the surface of the product. Such device
may substitute the conventional contact-type cleaning methods (brush,
etc.) which may cause contamination on the product if the application
required a clean environment.

      In FIG. 1 filtered air enters port "A", surrounding chamber 'B'
and exiting from a series of orifices 'C' at a specific angle 'D'.
The air impinges on the subject area, agitating the unwanted loose
material, debris or contaminant 'E' with a force 'F', and/or
dislodging the unwanted material from product 'G'.  Force 'F' also
retains product 'G' in position especially important with very thin
and flimsy material.  The main vacuum flow at 'J' turns on
simultaneously as air enters 'A', and is continuously active during
air impingement on product 'G' driving 'E' to a remote source.  The
exiting air from orifices 'C' also creates a vacuum effect in area
'H' drawing any loose unwanted material lying outside the
concentrated area of 'J' into the main vacuum flow of 'J'.  The
exiting air at 'C' can be pulsed to dislodge stubborn unwanted loose
material.

      Parallelism between product 'G' and the bottom surface of the
device and the distance between them are critical to the
effectiveness of this application.
