Abstract

Aperture locations on Gerber vector photoplotters have become a more critical parameter. An 8-position aperture fixture was designed and permanently fastened to the photoplotter table. This fixture is parallel to the table surface within .0002" to insure optimum focus. This fixture will also produce centerline repeatability within .0002". The old fixture could only produce apertures within .002". (Image Omitted)
