Pressure Actuated Flow Control

      Disclosed is a device which allows precise control of fluid
flow based on a reference pressure.

      As shown in the figure below, the rate of flow of the fluid
from the high pressure chamber will be governed by the length of the
bellows.  Since the extension of the bellows causes the piston to
pass over the outlet slots, reducing the area for fluid escape, the
flow rate is reduced as the bellows pressure is increased.  Thus, the
flow rate is inversely proportional to the reference or control
pressure.
