o A geometric shape that represents system features, e.g., a
cube or other shape that represents actions, user interface
techniques, and object properties.
o Each facet of the shape is interactive, e.g., a user can
point to a facet of the geometric shape and display and select from a
menu of available features.
o The geometric shape can be decomposed into its constituent
elements for further interaction, e.g., a feature can be taken out of
the geometric shape for other operations.
o Direct manipulation can be used to drag parts of the cube,
e.g., dragging a specific feature from the cube.
o Other features can be added from other sources via direct
manipulation or menus.
