A method for controlling the booting of media-less
workstations from an AS/400* is disclosed.  The AS/400 user can
specify the number of consecutive requests from a media-less
workstation that must be received before booting that workstation.

In the arena of a server supporting media-less workstations,
the network manager may wish to control how quickly the server
responds to a request to boot from a media-less workstation.  In the
table where the configuration of media-less workstations is stored,
each entry has a field called FIND COUNT.  The FIND COUNT field
specifies how many consecutive requests the server is to wait before
booting the media- less workstation.  This allows the AS/400 user to
allocate an AS/400 as a primary or as a backup server to media-less
workstations.
