Simplification of Server Installation and Configuration

A program is disclosed that simplifies the installation
and configuration of an OS/2* LAN Server 1.2.  This program
eliminates the need for the user to issue multiple network commands
to configure his server after installation.

Before a server could be started, a user would have to:
o add the group SERVERS to the user accounts database
o add the server as a user to the user accounts database
o add the server as a member of the group SERVERS
o specify whether the server was the domain controller or an
additional server

To do this by hand the user would have to issue the following
commands:
      o NET GROUP SERVERS /ADD
      o NET USER <servername> /ADD /PRIV /PASSWORDREQ:NO
      o NET GROUP SERVERS <servername> /ADD
      o NET ACCOUNTS /ROLE:PRIMARY or /ROLE:MEMBER

Instead of requiring the user to enter those commands, a
program was written that performs the same tasks by using the OS/2
LAN Server Application Programming Interface (API). By running this
program during installation, many potential errors (such as the user
mistyping the server name) are avoided.
