Info/Mgt TSP Userexit Report

The Information/Management program product provides the
capability to temporarily exit the product to perform various
functions.  These external programs are called userexits.

A technique for generating a report that lists the userexits
being called from Information/Management panels is disclosed.  The
technique can be used with Information/Management for MVS Version 4
and above.

In the flow chart above, a batch job invokes
Information/Management and executes a terminal simulator panel (TSP).
The TSP selects the Panel Modification Facility (PMF) Panel List
option to perform a block update for a selected panel data set.
While in update for each panel, the TSP processes a FIND USEREXIT
command from the control line summary panel.  If a userexit control
line exists, the panel name and all userexit names are passed to a
CLIST.  After all processing, the TSP executes CANCELs to exit the
panel updates.

The CLIST checks for a new report.  If it is not a new report,
it will allocate a new report dataset and write the headings, panel
name, and userexit names to the report dataset.  If it is not a new
report, it will add the panel name and userexit names to the bottom
of the report dataset. Below is a sample report.
