Command Assistant

      A method for creating a command assistant is disclosed.  The
command assistant helps users with sequences of commands when they
have entered a command that needs another command to accomplish what
the user desires to happen.

      When the user issues a command that the system cannot execute
until one or more preceding steps are done, a message is issued to
explain the situation.  In addition, a function key is activated to
prompt the user with the missing intermediate command(s).
Eg. User issues command  -> STRPRTWTR  PRT01
      System sends message -> Spooling subsystem not active
      PFkey x                   -> STRSBS  QSPL
                                             ....

      When the program function (PF) key is hit, the command appears
on the command line with the required parameter(s) filled in.
Hitting the enter key will execute the command.

      If there are multiple intermediate steps, hitting the PF key
again will cycle through the next command(s).

      The PF key can be hit multiple times without the enter key to
skip commands.
