OS/2 Distributed Automation Edition Library Management Enhancement

Disclosed is a program which provides a central point for
the management and distribution of data files associated with a
manufacturing process.  This enhancement displays a list of primary
file names in the Distributed Automated Edition Library Management
table and allows a user to retrieve or move files from node to node.
Any type of data may be defined and included in a Distributed
Automation Edition* (DAE) library. See the figure.

To display a list of primary file names in the library, a user
may enter a criteria string from a screen.  The criteria string can
be up to eight characters.  These eight characters are the query

Based on the characters entered, a list of files that begins
with the characters entered are displayed.  If the criteria string is
left blank, then the entire list of primary file names is displayed.
This display of primary file names can be from any DAE node in a
network.  For example, if the user enters "EQO" as the search
criteria, Library Services displays a list of primary file names that
begin with "EQO".

A user may select a file name from the list to physically move
the file from one node to another.  If the file name is known, it can
be directly entered on the screen, without selection from the list.
To retrieve a file, it is copied from the node, drive and path
