Icon Based Algorithm for Window Layout Flow

      Provided is a technique for icon-based window layout and flow
in order to overcome deficiencies with conventional techniques.

      Conventional icon and window opening features are provided.  In
addition, provide the following enhancements:
      Desktop window opening based upon source icon position, e.g.,
partially overlapped with the source icon
      Window-to-window opening and flow based upon source icon
position, e.g., target window partially overlapped with the source
window
      Bonding of source icons and target windows, where moving one
object automatically moves another;
      Animation of window opening and graphic shading to enhance the
impression of window layering.

      An end user will experience the following benefits: improved
management and control of screen space, reduced worksteps for window
management, improved usability via predictable window behavior, and
improved consistency in window behavior.
