Abstract

This disclosure relates to a mechanical protection for a computer to/from which a communication cartridge is to be attached/detached when the power line of the computer is active. In the case where the communication cartridge is attached/detached to/from the computer when the power line is active, the computer may be seriously damaged. A construction view is shown in Fig. 1.

Communication Cartridge Connection Lever

       This disclosure relates to a mechanical protection for a
computer to/from which a communication cartridge is to be
attached/detached when the power line of the computer is active.  In
the case where the communication cartridge is attached/detached
to/from the computer when the power line is active, the computer may
be seriously damaged.  A construction view is shown in Fig. 1.

      The DC jack hole is provided on the connection lever, as shown
in Fig. 2.  The lever is a slide-lock mechanism to fasten the option
cartridge to the computer.

      As shown in Fig. 3, the connection lever travel is longer than
the travel related to the release action of the DC jack from the
connector.
