EMI Gasket

       Disclosed is a gasket for preventing electromagnetic
interference.  By adding protuberances, it needs only low pressure to
contact two metals.

      Sheet metal can be a shield for electromagnetic interference
with a conducting gasket, as shown in Fig. 1.  It needs high pressure
to contact two metals, but a gasket with protuberances needs low
pressure to contact them.  They are contacted by conducting
protuberances, and the other parts of the gasket are not contacted to
sheet metals. Thus, it needs low pressure to contact them as a shield
for electromagnetic interference.  The conducting gasket with
protuberances is shown in Fig. 2.
