Scrollable Entry Field Expander Control

Disclosed is a technique to provide a control on horizontally
scrollable entry fields that would allow the user to expand the field
for greater visibility of its contents.

A small "expand" icon is placed to the right of the right
scroll arrow (See Figure 1).  When the user selects this control, a
"drop-up" box would appear containing previously entered data (See
Figure 2).  The box appears above the entry field so that the text in
the visible entry field appears as the last line of the total
contents.  Once the drop-up box appears, the "expand" icon changes to
a "restore" icon to allow the user to return the entry field to its
normal size.
