Dynamic Context Window for Graphical Display

A method for a "dynamic" context window is disclosed.  The
context window concept for graphics tools is expanded to show either
detailed or contextual information as opposed to only contextual.

The current "static" context window is typically a small window
showing the outline of the design with little or no information of
the design - just shows the current window relative position on the
entire design (see Fig. 1).

A "dynamic" context window would enable a user to switch the
windows so that the detailed information can be on the context
window, and the context window information (including magnified
detail) would be on the larger window (see Fig. 2).

This allows improved ability to rapidly visualize the location
of the current window with greater detail of surrounding details (a
helpful feature as designs increase in size) while retaining ability
to see both context and detail.  This is especially useful when
sufficient detail is visible in the smaller window.
