Abstract

The disclosed icon represents credit card account objects in the OS/2* CT/2 Runtime facility. The icon is represented visually by the front of a generic credit card. CT/2 Runtime is a runtime environment for business and banking transactions created by the CT/2 Definition environment. The icon is used by the Presentation Manager*-based human-computer interface to the CT/2 Runtime facility.

Icon to Represent CT/2 Runtime Credit Cards

       The disclosed icon represents credit card account objects
in the OS/2* CT/2 Runtime facility.  The icon is represented visually
by the front of a generic credit card.  CT/2 Runtime is a runtime
environment for business and banking transactions created by the CT/2
Definition environment.  The icon is used by the Presentation
Manager*-based human-computer interface to the CT/2 Runtime facility.

      An icon for the CT/2 Runtime credit card account object
supports the Runtime portion of the CT/2 package by providing a user
interface for the following capabilities:
       .  Provides a means for accessing customer credit card
accounts.
       .  Provides a means for the user to show and sell various
credit card accounts to existing or potential customers.  The credit
card product icon can be selected and various actions can be
performed on the credit card object such as providing details about
the card account, summarizing the benefits of each of the credit
cards offered by the bank, and selling the card to a potential or
existing customer.
       .  Allows the user to make payments to the account for
customers.
       .  Allows the user to make cash advances against the credit
card account per a customer order.
       .  Allows the user to browse recent account activity.
