Integrated Sign On/Off and Server Dialogs

      Provided is a technique that integrates several dialogs and
status indicators into a single dialog in order to overcome
deficiencies with conventional techniques.

      Provide conventional functions and features.  In addition,
provide a single dialog flow that integrates the functions of signon,
signoff, change password, and determine system state.
      - Provide a dynamic icon to indicate the system/server
connection.
      - Selection of the icon displays signon as an animated dialog.
      - Completion of signon results in displaying a signed on icon
on the native desktop.
      - If the icon is again selected on the desktop, the result is
to display the signoff dialog.
      - Signoff and change password features are available through
the dialog.
      - Signoff removes the icon from the desktop.
      - Loss of system connection updates to icon to reflect system
status.

      - Reduced worksteps for icon and dialog management.
