Height-Adjustment Mechanism for LCD System

      Disclosed is a height-adjustment mechanism for a LCD system.
This mechanism is attached behind the LCD.  This height-adjustment
mechanism makes the LCD system more slender and provides distinct
advantages for operators.

      This height-adjustment mechnism can be attached to
desk-top-type computers, some kind of display units, and LCD
television systems.  This height-adjustment mechanism is the most
suitable one for such users who are demanding to change height and
angle of the LCD easily and watch the display at the best position.
This mechanism can provide a number of advantages.

1.  Accessible from the front side of the display.

2.  Adjustable while watching the display.

3.  Adjustability of the height and the angle of the display at the
    same time.

      The Figure shows one example of the mechanism.  By gripping a
lever A, a latch B is released and the display can be moved
vertically.  Lever A is attached at the easily accessible position
for the operator.  Further, lever A is positioned far from the hinge
C.  Therefore, the operator can change the height and the angle of
the LCD without turning his/her eyes away from the screen and without
using great strength.
