      Significant failure analysis improvements are experienced when
test signals are monitored in an environmental stress chamber.

      In the figure, signal monitoring is active during the
application of test signals to the product.  Therefore, real-time
detection is achieved when actual data does not match expected data.
Fault isolation is enhanced through visibility to the failing signal.

      Another benefit to failure analysis cycle time is realized when
signal monitoring is exercised during product disconnect mode.  The
figure is repeated dozens of times in its stress chamber.  Expedient
verification of all signals, prior to product load, is now possible.
