Method for Telephone Forward by Caller Constraint

      Provided is a service which allows a user to configure
characteristics about callers so that incoming calls which are made
will be forwarded if and only if the caller meets configured
criteria.

      It is desirable to forward a telephone to another telephone in
order to have calls redirected to a different destination.  It is
also desirable to forward only certain phone calls to a particular
target telephone.  A method is needed for forwarding calls which are
made from sources which meet certain requirements configured by a
callee.

      A user may configure the telephone service to have one or more
sets of caller criteria.  Each set may contain a condition of caller
attributes found in a connected Address Book (AB) such as source
number extension prefix, department, division, etc., which may
pertain to a caller.  The user may maintain a multiplicity of sets
and assign them to an active phone forward mode.  During forwarding
of the user's phone to another phone number, an option is provided
for specifying one or more sets which must be consulted prior to
forwarding.  Should the current caller meet criteria as described in
the assigned sets, the call will be forwarded.  Of course, the user
may have all calls forwarded, as is available in current art.  This
