Data Object with Selectable Strings to Generate a Panel

The invention is to include selectable strings in a menu,
enabling the operator to select a particular string to include in a
document being constructed.  A panel to be displayed has selectable
examples which can be shown to the user for selected insertion into
the panel.

A blank structure is created for embedded data in the form of
strings which can be selected by a user for a display.  A particular
application is in telephone order taking for the preparation of
classified ads for a newspaper.  The data object includes fields
which provide examples which can be chosen for insertion into a
classified ad being prepared by the operator.  The examples are
respective strings such as the phrase "like new condition" or "make
best offer."  Once the strings are selected, they become active and
are actually incorporated into the form.
