Automatic Window Refresh to Show Currently Scheduled Activities

This article proposes an End-User Interface to automatically
display and refresh calendar information associated with the current
date and time.

Most of the time management systems provide different types of
"display" capability for calendar and scheduling information that the
user has requested based on a daily, weekly, or hourly basis.  But
there is no user interface provided in the current time management
systems to always keeping a small icon (window) on the user's
terminal, and automatically display and refresh the user's currently
scheduled activities within a certain time window.  The users have to
either keep a hard copy of their schedule or logon to the time
management systems every time they need to find out if there is some
meeting they need to attend.  It is cumbersome for the user to scroll
through information and locate the calendar information for that time
period.

This article proposes an End-User Interface design to
automatically display and refresh calendar information associated
with the current date and time.  The user can customize the PC window
size and specify the range of calendar information the user wants to
see based on time integral.  For example, the user can specify to
display the calendar information one hour before the current time and
two hours forward from the present time.  The window will have the
following information:
