Cleaning Up Storage with Dynamic Copy

      This disclosure describes an addition to an earlier disclosure
entitled "Dynamic Copy Before Update/Delete" and expands on it to
provide function to recover space used by newly created files that
are not needed when an install fails and has to be backed out.

      The "Dynamic Copy Before Update/Delete" disclosure described
backing up of files before they were updated or deleted to primarily
provide for recovery of files changed during an install or other
update to program libraries, etc.  It did not cover recovery of
storage space used by newly created files and directories that are
not needed when an install fails and the original files and
directories have to be recovered.

      While the "Dynamic Copy Before Update/Delete" disclosure
specifies that a table of some sort is created to contain the data
needed to properly replace all original files which are copied while
the function is enabled, as well as copying of the files,  it does
not specify that the same information is kept for newly created files
and directories.

      The described function is an addition to the base function
previously described in the "Dynamic Copy Before Update/Delete"
disclosure to provide the same information for files and directories
that are created by the "monitored program" (as defined in the
"Dynamic Copy Before Update/Delete" disclosure) that is kept for
files that are updated/deleted, with the exception that the files are...
