Abstract

This article discloses a system which enables to store and access image data and its relating oral voice data by operating a Personal Computer. Image data derived from TV-Camera and related oral data explaining the complementary information as to the image data are captured in a few seconds. When the stored image is displayed, the recorded voice can be heard. And for comparison or the other use, two or more image data can be displayed on the Client TV simultaneously.

      This article discloses a system which enables to store and
access image data and its relating oral voice data by operating a
Personal Computer.  Image data derived from TV-Camera and related
oral data explaining the complementary information as to the image
data are captured in a few seconds.  When the stored image is
displayed, the recorded voice can be heard.  And for comparison or
the other use, two or more image data can be displayed on the Client
TV simultaneously.

      Fig. 1 shows a configuration of this system.  TV-camera (1) and
a color scanner (2) are used for image data source devices.
Microphone(3) is used for recording messages from a doctor.  For each
image, a doctor or an operator records a message explaining the
image.  The message includes such as purposes, conditions,
phenomenon, state of client and so on.  These data are kept in each
distributed area in a Personal Computer storage, such as a Hard Disk
or a Magnetic- Optical disk (7).

      Although after a lot of data are stored, in a conventional
system, it becomes difficult to find a specific data, This system
provides a picture viewer function with small and low quality
picture.  This function can be run more quickly than displaying the
normal (Full screen, Full color) image data.  Furthermore, this
