Non-Marring Disk Pickup Tool

A non-marring pickup tool for use in handling memory disks
during manufacturing is disclosed.

The non-marring disk pickup tool is constructed of two delrin
end blocks 1 and 6 which have 90º  grooves machined into them
so as to lift the disk, contacting only the chambers of the disk.
There are also narrower chute grooves which serve to guide the disk
as it drops out of the tool while placing the disk into a process
cassette.  A support rod 3 is press-fitted into end block 6 and has a
slot for a keeper pin 2 which, in turn, retains the opposite block.
A guide rod 4 retains the return spring 5 which provides a force to
open the blocks and resistance for holding the tool between a thumb
and two fingers.
