Abstract

Disclosed is a PC docking station which is designed to have a PC docking lock and eject mechanisms and a carrying handle for its portability. Both PC lock/eject lever and the carrying handle are mounted in front of the docking station. They are placed for the purpose of user accessibility and usability. The figure shows the mechanism of this PC docking station. The docking hook is mounted under PC place table and moves up-and-down. The PC eject pins are mounted in the rear of PC table which can push PC with sliding this side. Both carrying handle and eject lever are placed in front of this docking station. Both docking hook and eject pin are connected to eject lever via joint arms and links mechanism.

PC Eject Mechanism of Docking Station

      Disclosed is a PC docking station which is designed to have a

portability.  Both PC lock/eject lever and the carrying handle are
mounted in front of the docking station.  They are placed for the
purpose of user accessibility and usability.  The figure shows the
mechanism of this PC docking station.  The docking hook is mounted
under PC place table and moves up-and-down.  The PC eject pins are
mounted in the rear of PC table which can push PC with sliding this
side.  Both carrying handle and eject lever are placed in front of
this docking station.  Both docking hook and eject pin are connected
to eject lever via joint arms and links mechanism.

Condition (1): Eject lever  ---> Close
                Docking Hook ---> Lock
                Eject pin    ---> Rest area

      In the case the customer like to lock PC and to carry the PC
with docking station, with closing eject lever the hook holds PC.

Condition (2): Eject lever  ---> 30 degrees open
                Docking Hook ---> Rest area
                Eject pin    ---> Rest area

      In the case the customer releases eject lever with keeping PC
on the docking station, with opening the lever approximately 30
degrees, this lever gives a warning for the customer not to carry the
handle by its crossing to the handle.
