Abstract

Disclosed is the Ergonomic Manual Inspect and Collate Workstation. This device consists of two tables that work in conjunction with each other to simplify the collate and inspect operation for fiberglass laminate sheets used in the manufacture of printed circuit boards. While the device was designed for this specific application its use can apply to a widely varying array of manual collate and inspection tasks and is not limited to the use of fiberglass sheets or the printed circuit board industry.

Manual Inspect and Collate Ergonomic Workstation

Disclosed is the Ergonomic Manual Inspect and Collate
Workstation.  This device consists of two tables that work in
conjunction with each other to simplify the collate and inspect
operation for fiberglass laminate sheets used in the manufacture of
printed circuit boards.  While the device was designed for this
specific application its use can apply to a widely varying array of
manual collate and inspection tasks and is not limited to the use of
fiberglass sheets or the printed circuit board industry.

The design of the system is illustrated in the Figure.  It

attentiveness during the operation.  The small adjustable work table
(C) fits inside of the work frame and is also adjustable in height
and angle of inclination to fit the siz...
