Cover Seal Release Ramp

      Described is a hardware implementation to provide a cover seal
release ramp for retaining, or latching, a side cover.  The
implementation ease of installing and removing and eliminates the
need to use screws, or similar retaining fasteners.  In addition, it
provides a seal between a cover and housing.

      Fig. 1 shows a front view of the molded thermoplastic rubber
hinge cover.  Fig. 2 shows section A-A of Fig. 1.  Hinge point 10 is
used to position and join the cover to a housing.  The cover is held
in place to the housing at point 11, usually at two places.  To
remove the cover, pressure is applied at point 12 to release the seal
held at point 11.  at point 12 to release the seal held at point 11.
This enables the cover to be released from the housing.
