Provide Synchronous Feedback with Image Re-display from Asynchronous
Validation of Operator Input

Method was devised to allow user written validation routines to
communicate synchronously with an operator about unusual validation
problems when an item's image is re-presented to the operator for
viewing and corrections.

To improve the item thruput performance, the operator data
input from images is overlapped with the data validation.  Multiple
field data validation is done after the images are removed from the
operators view.  In some situations the validation routine needs to
communicate with the operator.  For example:

1.  Operator is keying the correct information from the image but the
original document was printed wrong or has information that is
incorrect now and the customer's validation routine realizes that
the account codes, etc. have changed.  Operator needs to be
presented with a list of valid values.

2.  After checking the account codes and/or amount values, the
validation routine requires the operator to verify the document
    signature.

A message buffer area was added to the validation routine
interface.  When the validation routine does not accept the input
data and needs to inform the operator of special validation
instructions, it returns the operator instructions in the buffer
area.  Not all items which require operator actions have instructions
returned with them, only those w...
