Straddle Mount Connector Insertion Tool

       Fig. 1 is the side view of Straddle Mount Connector
Insertion Tool.

      Described is a semi-automatic straddle mount connector to
printed circuit board tool.

      The straddle mount connector to printed circuit board tool is
designed with the following features:
  1.  Align circuit board to straddle mount connector in X, Y, Z and
      Theta directions for insertion.
  2.  Provide a steady insertion force for nice even insertion.
  3.  It has keying of circuit boards to connectors to prevent
      inserting the wrong connectors or wrong cards.
  4.  It holds the circuit boards and connectors firmly and squarely
      during insertion.
  5.  Pinned circuit board fixtures for ease of switching from one
      circuit board to another.
  6.  Pinned connector fixtures for ease of switching from one
straddle
      mount connector to another.
  7.  A dead-man switch to prevent injury during tool operation.

Tool.
