Wireless Emergency Call System

      Presently disclosed is a personal electronic security device
having an electronic circuit assembly connecting one or more
electronic switches, one or more indicator lamps, a Global
Positioning Satellite (GPS) receiver and a Cellular Digital Packet
Data (CDPD) transmitter.

      In one embodiment, an emergency call sequence begins with the
user activating an electronic switch.  Once activated, the electronic
switch triggers the GPS system having a GPS means for determining the
present GPS geographical coordinates.  Next, a data forming means for
forming a user datagram containing a local emergency access number,
such as 911, and present GPS geographical is formed.  And next, the
user CDPD datagram via a CDPD transmission means is transmitted over
a cellular network.  A Dispatching Center having a dispatching means
for notification of emergency services to the present GPS
geographical coordinates as provided in the CDPD datagram.

      In another embodiment, the personal electronic security in
addition to the CDPD transmitter has a CDPD receiver for receiving
CDPD signals.  When emergency services receives an emergency service
request through the reception of the user datagram, an
acknowledgement datagram is formed and is broadcasted back to the
personal electronic security device.  When an emergency services
