Compound Document Page Container and Page Part Handler

A method is described to supply a Page Container part and a
Page part for compound document inclusion.  The proposed parts will
enable a useful hiearchy relationship for object oriented compound
document construction.  Figure.   Page Container Part and Page Part.

The Page Container part is used to manage Page parts created by
a user.  The part will enable the user to scroll by lines or by
pages.  The asset is the granularity of the separation of this
function.  This part provides a transport vehicle for the inclusion
of page parts which can be developed to provide layout function
characteristics of document pages.  The management of these pages is,
and should be, independent of the page part.  Page parts can be
developed by any Independent Software Vendor (ISV) with no
requirement to provide management in a full document since the Page
Container does this.  Imagine a Page Part which automatically sizes
itself on the target device to 8 1/2 by 11, which provides the
function of a container with an option to set the margin.
Alternatively, a Page Part could be developed which supplies other
layout options such as a footer.
