Backlight Support with Heat Sink

This article describes a Backlight support fixture with heat
sink.  This fixture is used for two purposes.  One is for supporting
a backlight, the other is for a heat sink of the backlight.

Liquid Crystal Display needs both backlight and inverter card.
This card generates much heat which causes a problem.  Therefore the
inverter card is generally supported with heat sink or cooling fan.
On the other hand, a backlight support fixture is also required to
fix it to a Liquid Crystal Display module (Fig. 1).  These fixtures
are generally not so small and costs much.

A fixture is made for supporting a backlight which has function
of heat sink (Fig. 2).  By putting two fixtures together, this
invention is cost and space reductive.  Then heat of inverter card
transfer it which is large and no obstacle space in rear side of
backlight.  Therefore, the inverter card can be cooled efficiently.
Consequently, both a heat problem and backlight support can be
solved.
