Clamp for Suspension Setting

Disclosed is a clamp block for fixing a suspension for the
adjustment process of the suspension.  A clamp block has been
conventionally used for fixing the suspension.  As shown in Fig. 1, a
boss of the suspension is inserted in the hole of the clamp block and
the suspension is fixed.

The hole of the clamp block is conventionally formed as fitting
to the boss of the suspension for achieving the secure fixation of
the suspension.  Therefore, the insertion of the boss to the hole
must be executed under strict position control.

As shown in Fig. 2, the new clamp block has a hole comprising
two inner wall faces which are forming an apex of a right angle at
the crossing point of these two wall faces.  A boss of a suspension
is inserted in this hole and pushed toward the apex.  Because the
boss is pushed toward the two wall faces of the hole, the boss can be
positioned at the center of the clamp accurately.  According to this
new clamp block, the position control and the secure fixation of the
suspension can be easily achieved.
