Hard Disk Drive Sheet Metal Cover and Seal

The Hard Disk Drive (HDD) sheet metal cover and seal structure
is described obtain thin material cover on the HDD and its gasket.
Thin plain sheet, especially aluminum, does not have enough strength
for the external force.  After adding bending/recess, thin material
will be stiff.

Figs. 1 and 2 show outer vending, which is overlapped with base
plate, and separated gasket.  Before cover closing, gasket put on the
base plate by using holes and pins for easy adjustment.

Fig. 3 shows top cover recess, which is the first contact point
with the rigid place on the base, when vending is started.  After
contact, cover vending value are reduced.  Sensitive parts are
covered by
this structure.

Fig. 4 shows Air pass/rework tool insert.  The heated air
between cover recess and label, will cause form factor off.
Breathing
pass manage air volume change.  This recess is also used for label
removal tool insert location.
