Abstract

Disclosed is the method of Actuator Lock mounting. The Figure shows how to mount an Actuator Lock on the VCM Yoke. VCM Yoke is made by stamping. In stamping, the die usually has a relief at the inside corner (see view A). It makes the life of the die long. View A shows the location of Actuator Lock mounting. There are two reliefs and the size of these reliefs is adjusted to the size of Actuator Lock projection.

Lock-Mounting Method on the Yoke

      Disclosed is the method of Actuator Lock mounting.  The Figure
shows how to mount an Actuator Lock on the VCM Yoke.  VCM Yoke is
made by stamping.  In stamping, the die usually has a relief at the
inside corner (see view A).  It makes the life of the die long.  View
A shows the location of Actuator Lock mounting.  There are two
reliefs and the size of these reliefs is adjusted to the size of
Actuator Lock projection.

      Actuator Lock is made from rubber.  It has projections (see
view B).  These projections and reliefs are corresponded.  The
Actuator Lock is squeezed into the gap of the Yoke.

The merits of this application follow:
  1.  Because of the releif and projection, the Actuator Lock is not
       released from the Yoke.
  2.  The die of stamping is not added to the mount Actuator lock on
       the Yoke.
  3.  Reliefs are usually used in stamping; therefore, they are not a
       bad factor during the life of the stamping die.
  4.  The projections of the Actuator Lock are easy to make; there is
       no problem to make it.
