Drive Holder for Electro Magnetic Interference Shield

This article describes a drive holder which can be used as
Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) shield bracket.

Fig. 1 shows the holder when it is used for a fixing drive
unit, and Fig. 2 shows the holder when it is used as an EMI shield
bracket of option bay.  In the event that more sufficient shielding
is required, the EMI gaskets or EMI fingers are added on the bracket
for grounding contact to the top cover.

The Personal Computer requires the EMI shield bracket to close
an open window when no option drive is installed in the bay.  This
bracket is removed and often thrown away when an option drive is
installed.  On the other hand, the drive holder is necessary when the
option drive is installed, although it isn't required when the bay is
open.  Therefore, the two parts aren't needed at the same time.
Also, a holder is designed with the capability to be used as both
drive holder and EMI shield bracket by merging each functions of
these two parts.
