Inner Tube Crimp Tab on Load Beam

      Disclosed is Suspension Design and Method for a Tube Crimping
Tab on Load Beam to improve assembling, control Static Attitude with
wire tension stiffness and reduce the effect of crimping stress.  In
addition, this can make commonality between current manual and
automated HSA process.

      Fig. 1 (a) and (b), shows the extreme points of Conventional
Suspensions:  (a) shows a manual type; (b) shows an automated type.

      Fig. 2 shows the New Design of a suspension.  The tube can be
Crimped by using Tab on Load beam.

      The most important point is to reduce the forming change and
stress of Tab for Tube crimping.

      It makes wire assembling easier because of better handling of
tube crimping.  Consequently, wire tension and stiffness become more
stable.  This makes head flying height performance better.  Finally,
it reduces cost and improves productivity.
