      Disclosed is a method of re-routing invalid messages (with user
information included) to another destination to be processed or
discarded in a transaction manager environment.

      Normally, when an invalid message is detected on a message
queue by a transaction manager, the queue is stopped, this results in
messages unrelated to the error message also being impacted.  In the
case of Multiple System Coupling (MSC) it causes the link to fail
with propagation of a "stopped message queue" condition, throughout
the network, until a cold start is done for all transaction manager
systems in the MSC network which have an invalid message queued.
