Abstract

The Figure shows a high reliability Tape Automated Bonding (TAB) having a swelled portion which consists of additional two slits. Stress of TAB decreases drastically about thermal shock test and shock and vibration test, because this swell works as a mechanical and thermal cushion. Therefore, a holding part of TAB gets more reliability.
