Abstract

Two pins are added on the frame of Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) module. Two through holes shall be provided in the interface cable of Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC). Also, two pins are put into two holes to fix the interface cable (Fig. 1).

High Reliability Liquid Crystal Display Interface Cable

      Two pins are added on the frame of Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)
module.  Two through holes shall be provided in the interface cable
of Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC).  Also, two pins are put into two
holes to fix the interface cable (Fig. 1).

      In Fig. 2, part A is connective area and is not reliable.
Mechanical stress could be avoided at the connective area by applying
the
above changes, because mechanical stress area will be changed to part
B
from part A.  Therefore, the interface cable gets more reliability.
