Single Clock Structure to Control Hard Disk Drive

      Disclosed is a hard disk drives controlled by a single clock
source.  Single clock source enables hard disk drives much more
stable than a multiple clock source.

      Clock source for Servo pattern demodulator, for data channel
and for Microprocessor unit is the same one oscillator.  Spindle
motor speed by a timer in microprocessor unit driven by the clock
source, servo pattern demodulator works based on the same clock
source, and data channel also provides the data on a disk surface
based on the same clock source.  The Figure shows a hard disk drive
system which explains the clock controlled objects, spindle motor
rotation speed(1), written data(2) and servo pattern(3).  When the
clock frequency deviated by miscellaneous reasons, these three
functions move synchronously and causes no problem in a hard disk
drive as a closed system.

      This single clock source structure enables use of the
oscillator by having wide deviation of frequency.
