      A machine readable storage dump already formatted for printing
will be converted back to original storage image in order to support
and take advantage of software analyzing/debugging tools requiring
the data being online in storage.

      It is not required to perform the conversion under control of
the same machine or control program as the dump originally was taken.

      Fig. 1  shows a flow diagram in which the method of converting
machine readable dumps in print format back to storage image format
is illustrated.  The following sequence of events take place during
the conversion.  The member containing the machine readable dump is
being opened (step 10).  Line after line of the dump is read (steps
20 to 40), the part of the line containing the storage address is
converted and compared with the selected begin address of the range
of data to be converted.  As soon as the addresses match
(greater/equal), the dump data conversion starts.  Now the following
lines of the dump, line after line, are read (steps 60 to 120),
whereas this part of the line containing the storage data is
converted and saved contiguously in the area allocated with step 50.
Addresses being part of the dump data will be relocated to reflect
the differrence between original data location and converted dump
